Sam Kovacs is a Franco-British macro systems thinker whose frameworks and research span the globe.

He studied finance at HEC Montréal, then moved to Paris for a master's in economics at Sciences Po. That's where he launched his first company: an investment research platform on Seeking Alpha, built from his student flat. He never had a conventional career.

Since then he has lived and worked across 12 countries. Most people in finance stay in one layer. Retail or institutional or sovereign. His frameworks cut across all three because the problems between them are connected, and almost nobody treats them that way.
